    I thinkas long as it doesnt rain tomorrow Ill go and start it up. I just put the motor back in and put in a hv oil pump just incase it is the bearings so that way I can get a little extra pressure out of it.

    I know this may sound dumb to most people but do I put a gasket between the oilpump and the block? When I took this motor apart there was no gasket there and I have seen on a few threads that people said not to use them. Whats everyones opinion here?

    Well hopefully thats what it is. I bought a new HV oil pump while im in there just incase it is the bearings that way I can get a little extra out of them. I am also thinking about getting a new pickup tube just to be sure there is no debris in it.

    I changed the oil today and filter. I use 10w-30 and a k&n filter. I also hooked up a mechanical guage. Cold start was 58psi.     well my main concernn was that i never had that kind of problem on any other stang ive had and when it drops you can hear the rockers. I am going to have to hook up a mechanincal guage to be positive but I just have a gut feeling there is a clearance issue.
