stalls when revved

I have this weird problem with the car. I just put it together and was adjusting everything and it seems that the car idles fine but as soon as I rev it up the rpms will go up and then it will stall when it comes back down. What could this be? If I catch the idle on its way down it will then idle at about 500 rpms.

The computer may need time to relearn.

Did you do a MAF conv.?

Computer may just need time to adjust. Drive the car around a bit, and see if you continue to have this problem.

Yes I did do a maf conversion. Do you think it may be a problem with that?
