    i cant believe the amount of :poo: that one would "might as well" change if swapping motor...it adds up lol i already changed the trans fluid prior to swapping the motor so thats good. i will see about changing the u joints as well..how can you tell they are bad?

    i used a 3/4 to 3/4 u-shaped bypass hose with hose clamps...is that okay? or is it better to use the correct size heater hose 3/4 to 5/8?

    i have the LRS headlight 3 piece kit...fits good if you put them on in the recommended order. also, dont use aftermarket headlight seals (the ones that go around the top exterior of the headlight) should be good to go

    good lord, what did all those parts cost you? looks like you did not skimp on parts/rebuild work. im currently swapping my hci motor (bad valve stem seal or bad rings) to a stock motor with 113k mi. I just spent some money on parts from lmr and AM and it hurt lol really nice work cleaning up...

    Has this happened to anybody before? Holy crap, whatta pain in the ass! I go to change the thermostat, so i take the water neck off and i see half a thermostat in the housing. I look in lower intake where housing is, i see the piece in the pic...go to grab it, and i end up pushing it more in...

    Yes, motor is on an engine stand currently. I will mount the MM to the block and drop it in. How will lining up the trans input shaft play out while dropping the motor onto the k member MM locations?

    Hey guys, 92 5.0, the motor is out of the car. I just bought new prothane MMs. Would you recommend installing the MMs to the motor, then drop motor in, or mount MM to k-member, then drop motor onto MM? Thanks. Any other tips on dropping just the motor in (tranny still in car) are appreciated
