    Dynomatting the 'vert floor?

Has anyone done this to minimize cabin drone? The sound gets pretty tiresome when cruising along 1800-2200rpms. I'm wondering if padding the trunk & rear seat area would make a significant difference? How much dynomat would be needed? Stuff is damned expensive.

    intermittently running hot

Re the last post: I don't get it. How can the heater core effect overheating adversely? One long-time band-aid for overheating is to put your heater ON.

    Fan control device

Does anyone make a simple "plug & play" that alters the temperatures at which the low speed & high speed fan kicks in? I have H/C/I and a big Griffin radiator that runs beautifully w/out a chip, but I'd like the fan to come in earlier---particularly in traffic w/the AC blasting---and that...

    Stripped out caliper bracket bolts

The factory bolts are expensive, but recommended. I threw the old ones out & bought new ones from diversified. Why not go 1st class--they're you brakes!

Quick question about rear cobra brakes...

You need to buy Cobra-specific pads, which are thinner, and you'll have to do some minor grinding on the caliper so it'll clear the larger rotor and notl rub.

oil in PCV tubes and intake runners

I also have a high mileage (120K) H/C/I engine, and noticed a lot of oil in the intake manifold when it was opened for the new heads & cam. I put a Steeda oil separater in, and noticed it fills up every month or so, but engine oil loss is nil between changes & car runs fine w/no plug fowling...

    96 cobra brakes on a 94 gt

As for front Cobra calipers, look around before buying new. A lot of Cobra racers upgrade to Baer or Brembo, and let their stock used calipers go cheap. I got mine for $100, and he threw in the rotors, which I had turned. So all I really needed new was the rear kit and new Hawk pads all...

    96 cobra brakes on a 94 gt

I just did this 2 weeks ago. I had the later '03 calipers in front, too. So I already had the fine thread banjo bolt hose combo. I got the Cobra calipers from a friend & bought 13' front rotors & larger rear rotors together with the rear upgrade kit from buyfordracing.com. The rear rotors...
