    check the PCV filter screen also.. with 170K on the clock its probably clogged up if its original. Pull it and either get a new one or blast that puppy with some carb cleaner.

    5-lug swap...is it a DIY job?

    A local speed shop who specializes in Mustangs and who has done this swap on many cars quoted me 800$ labor minimum for the job. They said it typically takes them 10 hours to complete an entire swap.

    140mph gauge cluster install/circuit repair

    I think the idea was to encourage people to drive slower and use less gas. :rlaugh: As far as the cluster plastic lens goes, I'd just order a new one. They are cheap enough to not justify restoring an old beat up one, IMO.

    I would still put some silicone around each hole, just to be safe. I just installed a fresh pair in my 88 and used a generous amount of sealer.
