Anyone polished a satin aluminum intake?

I did my lower just using a wire brush with a drill.

Oh yeah, and a lot of carb cleaner :D

its a pain in the ass to get it done right because of all the crevisus. Id powdercoat instead

I've done a little polishing and personally I've never once though of it as a PITA; simply because I knew going into the process of polishing any aluminum parts that it will take a little time to do it right.

When I say I've done a little polishing this is just some of what I've done so that there is no misunderstanding .

If it helps I do have a writeup on my site on how I did my parts.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW :nice: :hail2:

That's beautiful work! I've never seen a nicer factory intake! But yeah, that's basically what I'd like to do to my upper intake, and anderson power pipe. I'm definitely going to check out your write up. Thanks
