    werd thats extremely high. you have to have mods not listed. I was only at 211 and 270 something with full exhaust, cold air intake, 9mm wires, fresh tune up, full length headers and bumped timing. Even then a lot of people said my car had above average numbers for the mods i had.

    Drama with the repair shop...

    How so? I installed my FA and quadrant in about 30 minutes and once its set there shouldnt be any problems. Its does take some initial playing to get them set where you want but its not rocket science. Go with a good brand like MM and there should be no problem at all.

    A local performance mechanic recommended I use gm synchromesh. Tranny's shifted pretty smooth since I changed over.

    Usually heating up the headlight in the oven for a few minutes will melt the existing glue enough for you to reassemble everything. Be carfeul though that you dont heat it up too much and using clear silicone to seal the lens will also help.

    I bought a 160 mph cluster for my 87 mustang. The speedo face plate is a little faded so I'd like to replace it. I've searched for a replacement even if its a white face plate kit but cant find one. Anyone know if a company makes one or if I can have one custom made?

    Just the part that plugs into the VSS sensor or remove the cable from inside the housing tube and lube the bottom half?

    My speedo needle is bouncey from 0-20 mph. I just replaced the cable and VSS sensor and installed a used 160 mph cluster. My old cluster was trash. The new speedo cable came with lube and I searched everywhere but couldn't find out exactly where to use the lube at.......and help? :shrug:

    Yea I replaced all my radiator lines when I replaced my waterpump and the new heater core hoses came with a restrictor (heater core was previously bypassed until today so the hoses are brand new) and I also got all new clamps and made sure to get them nice and snug.

    so I replaced the heater core today and went to test and did a quick test drive. When I got home a few minutes later there was coolant leaking out of the weep hole on the lower passenger side firewall. Did I get a defective core or is something else going on?
