The only thing that concerns me with holley is the mechanical Secondarys... true, the vehicle will weight right around 3100...

    Is the street avenger 575 enough carb? im assuming it is... especially if i dont plan on spinning the hell out the motor. i really dont want to run rich up top with too much carb. The edelbrock performer is attractive, sounds user friendly and is relitively low-budget... Im still kicking around...

    In all honesty, FWIW, i have very little experience tuning carbs, but ive decided this is defenetly the route i want to take... im thinking eathier the edelbrock performer rpm or weiland steath intake... this is going in a 91 ranger. stock bore 5.0, E303 cam, GT-40P heads w/ springs up to .560...

    Im doing a very low budget buildup of my 1991 ranger ive had for 6 years. the 3.0 V6 is toast... i have a 5.0 1999 explorer engine withabout 82K miles. pretty complete... GT-40P heads... im going to run the intake and T/B.. but i want to do a little more aggressive cam.. I was thinking TFS stage...

    Quiet Catback Take 2.....

    i know this may or may not be an option, but my SLP loudmouth 2's are actually pretty damn quiet for a performance exhaust... i hav e a catted x pipe though, but i was really suprised... they sound good, nice deep rumble, but no drone and not obnoxiously loud eather.

    honestly the best advice anyone can give you is replace the springs... probably need the rear shocks too... its really not hard to do.. if your going to be selling the car anyway, you could always pickup some stock springs and just put it back to the stock height.. but i wouldnt sell it in...

    Best Springs I want your .02

    H&R supersports guy.... people have had trouble with the sportlines sagging in the rear... the FFRP are popular cause there cheap and ride well but dont give enough drop IMHO... H&R Supersports are worth the few extra bucks.

    I had the same issue, i didnt have to adjust the screw, i just pulled the battery cable and let it reset... gott give it time to adjust
