    the air box in the 99-04 just straight out blows...theres a tiny little opening allowing air to get in which with a better filter pulling more air still has to force through that small opening you may get more then stock but why not a bigger pipe anyways...you can always check ebay for a used...

    p.s. 3.8L V-tec 6 cyl ? you better be joking with that even so its pretty gay...and clear lights in the back ? change those headlights in the front for some 01-04's and keep the rear the same dont get rice lights in the back.......maybe projectors in the front thats about it

    OK i must say that Y pipe MAC setup sounds quite enough to fall asleep behind and the straight pipes with flowmasters dont seem to be loud at all either...least theres a slight growl though i dont think straights ona 6 with a filter will help more then a X pipe......I have Flomaster Delta flow...

    either take the lens apart then sand/buff the inside OR buy a new headlight...pending how shh Tee looking it is or not then u can put the RTV around the seal......
