    Wierd idle problem

Hey so i did a big tuneup on my 91 stang this weekend and replaced all the normal stuff and a few other things. I took it out for a little test ride and when i put the clutch in while rolling around in 1st or 2nd gear the RPM's jump up to like 2G or 2.5G and they stay there and i have to shut...

    Can't get smog pump off...

I'm removing all my smog crap and i'm having trouble getting the front bolt out. The back one was easy but the front one, after coming out about an inch is hitting the pully on the front of the pump. Do I have to take the pully off to get the bolt out or is there some trick? Please tell...

    Woud this look good?

See if someone can photoshop a pic of a white stang with a black spoiler for you. It's hard for me to imagine how it would look. Are you doing this to the mustang that is for sale?

    1/4 mile HELP!!

I think you just need to get your 60' times down. I have heard a lot of talk about guys with slicks leaving the line at like 4500 or 5000rpm and still keeping traction. Im sure with some new slicks and nice burnout to warm em up your 60' times will drop and you will get greast traction all the...

    Cold Air Intake Question: Opinions

They did a test that i read about the other day and they compared the stock setup with k&n panel...the fenderwell CAI and then the engine bay CAI. They ran the car down the 1/4 and they also used a thermometer to measure the air temp in the intake pipe. The stock setup and the fenderwell CAI...

    4:10s

yea if you want to still be able to cruise on the highway at 80 or 90 i would not get 4.10s. I also think your mph is a little off. I still have the stock gears in my 91 gt and im doing 80 at 2000rpm. I would go with 3.73's they seem to be the pefect gear. Cruising at 75-80 you will be...

What is the best wheel/tire size to run for optimal road track performance?

    I had thought about that too: Stock weight is 48 # per wheel/tire. 18's w/ 245 would be 51 # and my other option 17's w/ 255 and 285 would be 56 # and 60 #. Now i'm curious what a really light combo would be.

What is the best wheel/tire size to run for optimal road track performance?

I'm not worried about brakes yet....road racing for me is a long long ways away. It's like an ultimate goal to shoot for. What i should have said i was looking for is a setup good for tearing around curves on back roads. I've done alot of reading and I understand that a tire can be too wide...

    Intermittent "Low coolant" light

Ice Hawk - i wish i had a 69 boss but i don't , i made this name when i was 16 and all i knew was i had to get a mustang. The light is pretty annoying. Maybe during spring tune up i'll try cleaning the tabs like others have said.

    Targa top mustang

I have ALWAYS wanted to have a targa top on my mustang. I personally love the look. Now i have something else to save up for. Can't wait to see it on a sn95.

What is the best wheel/tire size to run for optimal road track performance?

Just thought about this alot. I think I have to go with the 17x9's and 10.5's. 255/45/17 in the front and 285/40/17 in the back. The overall diameter of each is almost identical and its only slight larger than stock. Only question now is, will 285 be too skinny on a 10.5 inch rim??? Thanks

What is the best wheel/tire size to run for optimal road track performance?

In that case critique my options: 18 x 9 inch rim with... 265/40/18 = .6 in. larger diameter than stock 275/35/18 = good diameter but from what you said i think this might be too wide 17 x 9 inch rim with 265/40/17 = .4 in smaller diameter than stock (don't like goin smaller) 275/40/17 =...
