    Glass Storage

Currently my car is still in one piece, but in the future I plan on tearing it down for a rotisserie style restoration. So for future planning, does anyone have any tips for storing the windshield and rear glass during an extended (probably a few years at this rate/ pay scale) time period...

    alignment shims.....

I didn't even have to take the wheel off. I just loosened the bolts, jacked the car up slightly, then reached in there and put them in. Then I set it back down and checked it with my camber gauge. Two or three tries and I had it spot on. :nice: The alignment shop in town kept telling me...

granada disc brake swap to 67 mustang

I may have to try this. I did the swap a while back using all '78 Granada Stuff and '67 Manual master cylinder on my '66. I bent all of my hard lines, turned out pretty good for a first time. Still feels like there is air in there and I can't count how many times I've bled them! Gotta try that.

How long do you plan on keeping your Classic?

I'm 28 and I've had mine for 11 years. Some people avenge their fathers death "Hello, I'm Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die!". I'm avenging my father's loss. He sold his after my birth at the pressure of my great-grandmother. On his death bed (ok so he's still around, but I...

export brace, monte carlo bar for I6 cars

I had to jack mine up and let it hang for a while so the shock towers could "settle". Then my holes lined up ok.

70 mustang wipers don't return to "park" when turned off

My '66 did the same thing. It was just a loose wire on the back of the switch IIRC, then all was well. UNTIL a body shop stopped them in the up postion to remove them, and put them back on in the down position. Unfortunately the shafts were still in the up position however. So the first...

    Problems finding Stangnet!

That's what I have to do. Any idea why the address works at another computer though? I was assuming that the problem was on my end, but could it be the way that the site recognizes my computer?

I just bought one that does the same thing, from a place that sells dirt track stuff. Wish I'd seen this first, would have saved a little money.

    Frame rails

I also need to replace a front framerail. If you find any info please pass it along! I did both rear frame rails about ten years ago. I just bought the new rails, measured how long they were (a hundred times), cut that much out and welded the new ones in. So far so good...

    Mystery Wires = backup lights?

Will I find both connections under the dash then? Because I'm not sure where the wires from the lights go once they disapear out of the trunk. From my diagram it looks like one wire may go to a red triangle type 3 hole female plug under the dash. Guess I better check the wire to the radio...

    Mystery Wires = backup lights?

I have a '66 GT Coupe. I've had the car forever but the backup lights have never worked. I put new bulbs in and nothing happened, so I thought I'd start checking wires to make sure everything was connected. All of the wires in the back seem to be ok, I can follow them just over the drivers...

a 66 coupe i want to look at

Makes a huge difference, I thought I was getting a steal on my K-code '66, when they sold it as a regular coupe (maybe they don't know what they have kinda thing). The car has a "k" but the engine is an "A". :( I still believe it is a factory GT though! :nice:
