Currently my car is still in one piece, but in the future I plan on tearing it down for a rotisserie style restoration. So for future planning, does anyone have any tips for storing the windshield and rear glass during an extended (probably a few years at this rate/ pay scale) time period?

Thanks

With a very understanding wife, I have stored the back window for a 69 fastback wrapped in an old curtain between our headboard and the wall in our bedroom. There are actually 2 of them as I have a spare for some odd reason. My wife gets to play the martyr when we have friends over and she tells them there are Mustang parts in the house--in our bedroom no less. The side glass is wrapped in more old curtains and are stored behind my blasting cabinet. The windshield--well my advice is throw it out unless it is a really nice piece/original non-shaded piece/original script piece. My windshield was a replacement and we broke it taking it out anyway. But I would have put a new one in after all the time and money fixing the rest of the car I am not going to cheap out on a windshield.
