    As far as pistons travel, what type pistons? A 2000 explorer motor vs. a 87-92 mustang block. also anyone know of a good place to find engine specs, that are detailed for a 2000 exlporer engine?

    pulling engine need ideas and help

    when i pulled my motor i pulled the tranny off first, i mean its not that hard to pull it off. Is it eaiser too pull them both together? i mean thenyou have to tilt everything and lift the picker up higher.... What does eveyone think? Sorry not tring to jack the tread this would be good to know

    Anyone Done This, Seats?

    on my 95 I let someone drive it the other day and Man the passenger seat is a hell of a lot comfortabler the the drivers, the drivers seat is all worn down! is there a way i could switch the sides Over? and still have the power seat and recline working? anyone done this or thought of it?

    im kinda doing the same thing and wondering like you too!!but its a 2000 mountaineer motor into a 88. from what i hear it will be really $hitty to leave that cam in since its ment for high torque and Hauling stuff. im Thinking of swapping a E303 in there.     Well since i have the motor out and everything is uplugged, would it be Wise to spray some electrical cleaner in every plug? also is dielectric grease needed anywhere? Just want to make sure the stang will be running in TIP TOP shape :)

    Hey man sorry to butt in on this but I was just wondering to how you disconnect the two main wire harnesses from the fire wall, both the drivers side and pass. Is there like a disconnect behind the insulation on the firewall???

    well i Took the insulation off from around the engine bay firewall area and saw no Bolts. I decided too look in side the car and man can't see nothing. am i going to have too pull all that $hit off from under the dash, there to detatch the wires?
