but man, didnt realize how expensive these kits were.... anyways im looing through summit and there is a kit for 350$ That includes a EECIV computer, Mass air meter, Inlet and Outlet hoses, and a mass air meter mounting bracket! My Question, Is that all i need to convert it over? will all my wiring plug up right to those peices?

I think thats all you need, i have an 88 also, and im gonna need to convert real soon. My problem is i plan on adding a supercharger with the next year or so. So i need to get fuel injectors like 30 lbs or so , which means i'll have to get a mass air meter calibrated for it. Pain in the @$$ if ya ask me. so thats gonna set me back a few more bucks

Trip to the junkyard... 89-92 Mustang computer (A9L for 5 speed, A9P for auto, auto computer will work Ok for a 5 speed) - $105, 70 MM Mass Air Meter from a 94-95 5.0 GT(89-93 MAF is smaller 52 MM unit) - $60. Plastic electrical connector for MAF - $1.

To the parts store or mail order... Wire and two Ford electrical connector pin kits from Autozone $20. Mail order wiring MAF harness $40 or so from Summit if you don't want to build your own.

Instructions from Stangnet at http://www.stangnet.com/tech/maf/massairconversion.html, priceless, but free to you.
