    Thanks for the link. That's a good price. :) I just spoke with a representative from BF Goodrich and he says there is NOT a backlog and that there are plenty of comp t/a drag radials available. Tirerack sucks. :notnice:

    I just got off the phone with a guy from www.tirerack.com. He told me it would take 12-14 weeks to get a pair of bfg drag radials. :mad: He says there is a nationwide backlog right now. Anyone else heard this? I figured I'd check a couple other places, but I'm not sure where else to look...

    I'm not sure how other people get their corrected times, but modulardepot has something called MY ET's. You enter in your times, track elevation and humidity and it will tell you your corrected times. :) www.modulardepot.com

    Cleaning IAC valve- questions

    Thanks. I did do a search and founds lots of threads about replacing the IAC and not too many about cleaning it. :doh: So how do you know for sure if it's bad? I can hear my engine surge at idle, but the needle on the tach barely moves.

    My engine has been surging a little bit so I'm going to try cleaning the IAC valve. Just wanted to know what to use and how to do it. Haynes manual doesn't give any specifics. :(

    I would think so. I hope it works out for you. I was thinking about going to the club and having my husband watch other guys hit on me. Make him realize that I'm still attractive, you know? That might be too drastic though. :( Anyway, good luck with your hubby. :)

    Agreed! Chad is the man! He helped me install the shocks/struts on my car and fixed a mistake I made installing my springs. He really knows what he's talking about. :nice:

    I wonder what the difference is between the Mach 1 shocks/struts and the Bullit shocks/struts? At stangstore.com the description of the two are exactly the same but the price is different. :shrug...

    Is this the same thing that looks like a dogbone? I used that instead of my differential before. I've also heard that people remove it for weight reduction. If I'm thinking of the same thing. :shrug:

    I bought my springs from MRT and I bought the Mach1 shocks/struts from fordpartsnetwork. It was a little cheaper than the kit from MRT. I'm not sure what the deal is with the Mach1 shocks/struts. They're a ford part, but made by Tokico. Apparently they're not the same thing as the Tokico...

    One was off by a little but it was fixed. I found an old thread a while back where alot of people had the same problem, almost always with the right rear corner. Strange. :shrug:

    Looks good! :nice: I like my MRT springs as well. I measured before and after and my car dropped 1.5 inches all the way around, except for the right rear. It only dropped 1.25 inches. :scratch:
