    T-5 swap - cable/hyd, yoke/shaft??

I bought the brake booster/master kit on e-bay but I guess what I need to do is to look at the hydrolic clutch kit slave cyl and measure the space needed and compare that to what the brake booster allows. With the speedo, I need to change the gear from a toploader to a C4. What I had read is...

    T-5 swap - cable/hyd, yoke/shaft??

After reading through a number of old T-5 swap posts I have made a few decisions and have a few questions. I'm planning on using a late model bellhousing and clutch lever. I was planning on converting the linkage to hydrolic but was recently told that my power brake booster convertion...

    LED tail light help

I had very dim headlights as well and installed a headlight relay which helped a lot. The do still dim some at idle though. What is involved w/ a 3G alternator? Just bolt in? Is there a wiring difference? Are there any down sides to higher output?

    Polishing tail light lens?

Will it take the plaque off my tail lights? :)

    LED tail light help

That sounds logical because I believe Scott Drake also makes clear lenses for the '65-66. See, you do know everything! :D

    Flowmaster vs Magnaflow mufflers

I have 40 series flows w/ 2 1/2" pipes on my car with a mildly built 289. I love the sound but they definitely drone at idle and certain other RPMs at cruise. The car is not my DD so I tolerate the drone but if it were I would probably go w/ something else. I've not heard the Magaflows and I...

    LED tail light help

One more question. I notice that most of the LED boards have clear lights. The LED plug in bulbs come in colors, like red. What is the effect through red lenses? The only LED panels I see in red are from Scott Drake and they are just of '65-'78.

    LED tail light help

Well I'm no electrical engineer so I really appreciate the info. Sounds like the boards are the way to go for me. I want it all: lower voltage drop, brighter lights, fully lit lense, and sequential turn signals. :nice: Yeah, it's not cheap, but what is with these old cars. Little bit at a...

    LED tail light help

I don't know. I saw them the other day at Advance and thought about it. Do you know what the wattage is for each LED bulb?

    LED tail light help

That is the exact problem I have been having, fine until you're on the brakes for a little while. I've seen the units by NW Mustang. I'll check into them a little further but glad to hear you have had success w/ the problem. Good to know on the wire gauge as well. Thanks. 65 fastback...

    Polishing tail light lens?

Wow, well hopefully the Meguirs will show better results. I just bought the polish today and will probably hit the lenses on Fri. I'll let you know how it goes.

    LED tail light help

Do you mean the full shelby taillight panel that goes over the original panel w/o cutting?

    LED tail light help

Thanks for the response guys! 65 fastback: I was also looking at Mustang Projects' units. What do you mean by "full light bars"? What made you choose them? CheapSk8: I've actually rewired the entire taillight panel twice but just from within the trunk. The ground seemed fine but I'll...

    LED tail light help

I have the Shelby tail light conversion and have big-time voltage drop problems because I'm running a total of 6 tail light bulbs as opposed to the original 2. I want to get some LED light panels but am not sure if there are major differences between manufacturers. These are the ones I'm...

    Polishing tail light lens?

It's been a while but something tells me that I tried that without success. If so, maybe mine are bad enough they need the compound?

    Tail light lense polishing?

Their before and after pics are amazing, but that stuff is not cheap! I may still order it though as it would be handy to have down the road as well. Thanks for the info.

    Tail light lense polishing?

I have the Shelby tail light conversion on my '70 fastback. The lenses have minor scratches that make the lense look a little foggy. Does anyone know of a product or technique that would help me polish the cratches out?
