    Keeping the Vents in???

How in Thee Hell (my dad always says that), do you keep the vents in? :bang: My 68 coupe that had factory A/C, is a royal pain in the butt trying to jam those things up and get the hoses connected and getting the little plastic "clip" into the little hole while trying to make that spring clip...

    Best Mustang Magazine?

Thanks for the excellent replies. I've been reading nearly every post here since my wife became an owner, and I became the restomod-der :D and the knowledge-base is really astounding. MOST of the replies are even without sarcasm for the guy who knows little-to-nothing about what he's doing...

    Nomenclature Question

Give me a break here - I'm learning. What does the "v" stand for in 289 2v, or 302 4v? If it was a 2 barrel or 4 barrel carb, it'd be a "b" wouldn't it, and they're all 2 valve cylinders aren't they? So what's the "v" mean? Thanks.

    Exhaust Damage

2 1/2" H exhaust - with the "normal" damage that comes with driving. At what stage of crunchedness?!!?!? should I consider replacing the tubes? And is it feasible to only replace a section or do I have to replace the entire length? Thanks. :flag:

    Thermostat Rating

On my '68 slightly-modded 302, I have a 4-row radiator working great but the water pump is now ready for the heap. Any suggestions as to what temperature thermostat I should use? 3-speed automatic. California-driven 65° to 100° (10 days a year) Thanks :flag:

68 Blowing Hot Air - Always!

My 68 coupe started out its life with AC, but the PO removed it. There was a few more things that he did that I didn't agree with too but he also did some good stuff. Whatever. No matter how I adjust the sliding heater/air controls, I get lesser or greater amounts of hot air blowing out of...
