    OK thanks for the ideas..I will give it a shot I saw the spring and cable, but have no idea if there is an adjustment on it...if the cable is too short, is there a way to fix that?

    Being in Florida the fabric is already plenty heated up and sitting in the sun hasn't helped. I am not even sure if that is the cause of my issue really. I am wondering if adjusting the tension on the fabric cable/spring would help to allow that side to travel farther?

    Here is a potentially stupid question...is there any difference in the accumulator used between r12 and r134? Just wondering if when they changed this car over they were cheap and kept old accumulator and maybe that is why the r134 switch isn't attaching properly

    I will check the fan but I assuming it is fine..I had the car running in 95º weather for 20-25 minutes and the temp never got passed the r in normal but I will check that out.
