    I have the map sensor vented to the open. I changed out the tfi and the map so i will pull the codes again to see if they show up again. How hard is the pip to chage out? thanks

    I have done a mass air conversion on this car but what I want to know is if the map or bap senson going bad could cause detonation. Code 14 could that be the tfi module too?

    Just as the title says i pulled codes and one is the pip sensor code 14. The other is map sensor I think code 22. Im also having stalling problems and detonation at 3/4 to wot were i never had before could this be related? Could the map cause detonation too? __________________

    will a 4cyl alternator fit a 5.0

    They are the same but the one halve of the housing faces a diffrent way. If you undo the 3 bolts(i think) you can turn the housing to face the proper way and the plugs will be in the right postion.

    Are they the black ones? Kind of hard to tell by that pic. The middle light housing looks like the black ones but not the outside or inner lights. If you have more pics that would be great. Thanks

    Yes his name is phil and yes there a few newfi's with some fast stangs around. I'm sure its a 347-348ci as he was even sticking his 347stroker bage's on when I was over there. If everything works out it should be one to watch out for.

    That sure does sound like the guy I know. He wreaked it on nitrous last year.The 3psi for 1000k is for the break in until he gets it tuned. Wow, stories sure do fly.     I know of a black one that was done at wms.Its a fox with a 347 r block with a 76mm turbo but i don't think its this one. He hasn't even dyno'd it yet.
