    attached is the rearward pic of the cat, it looks like a block of foam, how does this happen? i need to get it out because its loose, do i just smash the crap out of it and blow it out the exhaust? is it hazardous? thanks

    i had a similar situation. i thought i had a bad piston ring on my motor, so i figured i might as well swap the motor lol which i did. only to find out it was a bad ecm. i learned alot tho haha

    ive found out that zipper teeth vary, so make sure you have the right size teethed zipper. it will be obvious when looking at it.

    maybe the gasket shifted during install? I had new bolts for the lower intake, so i used the old bolts to properly mount the lower by cutting the bolt head off and slotting the head for a flathead screwdriver. worked like a charm and no leaks (and it was my first time doing it)

    swapping the cluster solved the issue. the film behind the cluster had a bad ground going to the amp dash light. only bad is the new used cluster that works has 194k mi, my stock cluster had 128k mi, that sucks.

    would swapping out the cluster gauge with a known working one be an option? l’ll have to see about grabbing an ohm meter to check connectivity.
