    what rpm does everyone shift at the track. i'm looking at my dyno results and the horsepower drops off at 5100 rpms, and the torque drops off at4200 rpms. where should i shift. 5100 i''m guessing. any longer and i'ts not beneficial being that the horsepower is falling. am i correct in my thinking?

    i myself like to live and learn, but sometimes you end up breaking parts that are more expensive than the one your installing. but i still would rather do it myself than pay someone.

    i don't know why the line lock wouldn't work with an automatic. i know that it's hard to heat up my bfg dr's with a 5 speed without killing my back brakes.

    no, i've never been to island dragway. where is it. ny i'm assuming. i think the first time you run that fast, they will check your car and tell you that you cannot run under 14. then they will throw you out, but i'm not exactly sure, i'm just guessing. they didn't throw me out when i ran 13.66...

    it definately depends on the track and what rules they follow. englishtown raceway park in nj definately follows nhra and you cannot dial in under 14.00 with a covertible and no roll cage.

    if you bracket race, they will not let you dial in under 14. i think the rule changed that you can run time trials under 14, but you can race.

    what psi should you run bfg drag radials 275/40/17's at the track. i just used them for the first time and had them at 20 and still had poor 60 ft times.

    ok luke, i guess your like a mustang jedi cause you've been racing for 10 yrs. i'm not a wuss, just concerned about the fit. i am getting the bfg's, just wish they made a little narrower tire to fit on the 17 by 8 rim. the tire call for at least 8.5 or 9 inch rim so thats why i was concerned...
