bfg drag radials, psi question

what psi should you run bfg drag radials 275/40/17's at the track. i just used them for the first time and had them at 20 and still had poor 60 ft times.

I run mine at 13psi and have gotten a 1.69 60' time. I don't dump the clutch. I slide it.

i will definately try going lower next time. how much do u heat them up, and do u go in the water box?

Yes. I heat them up in the water box using 2nd gear. I usually heat them up for about 5-10 seconds until I get nice smoke coming from them. yeah, they don't last long but they hook!

thanks alot, i actually considered using second. i will definately try lowering the psi and heating them up a little more next time.
