    Sweet sounds simple enough. I don't have to remove the speedo cable to get to the bulbs right? That was just a forewarning if I'm going to change the cable anytime soon?

    That's what I'm thinking too. To get to that bulb what do I need to remove? Two top bolts on bezel, pull it back, remove the bolts that hold the cluster plate on and pull it all back?

    Hi all I recently acquired an 89 gt 5 speed all stock except flowmasters. I did a full tune up and flush of everything, set Tps, timing, base idle, cleaned TB, and maf, sensors etc. I drove about 152 miles and tank was almost empty! So I said wtf?! Come to find out there is no spout connector...

    To have a solid daily driver with some balls. Subframe connectors, tubular control arms, thicker sway bars, etc. Engine is gonna be all bolt ons till I can save up for an h/c/I.

    Thanks! Ya its in really good shape. About a 5 footer. Everything is original on it. Paint interior wheels etc. I got big plans for her. Just want to get her running tip tip before I start Modding. I already got a guy giving me some bbk headers and underdrove pulleys for an amp I have.

    Hey everyone, i have an 89 gt with cobra ported upper and lower, with a 1 inch phenolic spacer. Just wondering what the best place is to get bolts? I went to lowes and other hardware stores, and they didnt have what i was looking for. Any help is appreciated.

    lol nice.. everyone has a shift kit but they dont know which one. Ill probably end up just getting a baumann. If i dont like it ill wait til i blow up the transmission and get a new one. I got like 130000 miles on my stock aod but it still shifts real nice.

    Are the TAD/TAB vacuum solenoids NEEDED?

    I did the same thing with my stock motor, i just plugged off the vacuum lines, and it ran flawlessly. I think you should be A ok.
