    you guys are definitely geniuses. i slid under the stang and sure enough, there was a plastic bag wedged into my x-pipe. i managed to pull most of it off but i'm gonna borrow my buddy's lift and clean it up soon. thanks for your mustang expertise. :nice: :flag:

    tune only?

    Dude, i say go with the tune only first. Then you can save up for the CAI. it looks like to me that the tune opens it up and then the CAI just adds to it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with just a tune. Oh yeah, let me know when you get it so i can take a ride with you.

    Okay what's the deal with the power dip as you pass 3k rpm?

    When i switched my oil over to Royal Purple it went away, now it jumps up a little more as it passes 3k. i'm definitely gettin a tune this summer though.
