    Here my problem, I got my car with the smog pump already gone, the guy just ran a shorter belt. Now every belt lasts me about 2 weeks then it starts rubbing together and then breaks. Does anyone make a smog pump delete that I don't need the stock bracket and hardware to use? 89 5.0 w AC

    Thanks, the switch was fine the night I blew my engine, then it sat for two years before I got it running again, so I don't know if a switch would really go bad from just sitting there but you never know. Hopefully now I can figure out what is wrong

    well all that checked out fine, anyone else got any ideas? One thing I did was I ran the harness right behind the header panel instead of in the engine bay while had my radiator out, I double checked all of the gounds.
