    Well my buddy was on his fifth 3650 and finally had enough, so we put in a T45 in last night. Everything went fine but since the gear ratios in the trannys are different the speedo is off. What do we need to do to fix this. He does have a predator if that is a possibility. Thanks

    Do mustangs have rev limiters?

    Yes they do have a rev limiter, im not exactly sure what the exact rpm is but its not past 6200. The previous owner must have removed the limiter with a programmer or chip. 7 grand is not a good place to be on a stock 2 valve.

    If you are somewhat mechanically inclined you could do it yourself. All you would have to do is lift the rear up and put it on jack stands. Then cut the tail pipes off after the muffler. Be sure to leave the hanger. Go to auto store buy some cheap turndowns and exhaust clamps, bolt them on...

    I didnt use the flange at all and it doesent leak. Didnt notice I had the flange until I finished and lowered the lift and saw the extra piece. Oh well, I guess I was lucky

    I would highly recommend welding your axle tubes and torque boxes and even though not part of a rear end set up a set of full length subframes, if your launching on et streets your going to put a lot of torque on the vehicle

    Im not a expert but I would say break them in again because when installed in your diff the gears most likley will not be exacty installed and shimed as they were in the previous diff and most likely there will be a new wear pattern.

    UPR Offroad X pipe

    I found the metal piece that came with it after I had installed it so I left it out. I am not aware of any leaks and there doesent seem to be a problem so I am going to leave it the way it is. Has anyone else just left it out?

    What type of gear oil do you recommend?

    I would use either royal purple or red line gear oils in your diff, I have used both and they work great. Currently I am using royal purple products for everything, engine, tranny, diff and even the radiator, all good stuff. Also be sure to change out the oil after you have broken the gears in.

    Be even more cautious as the tread wears down, it will get worse to drive in the rain, but you can handle it, you just have to pay close attention to the car.
