All I had done on my 01 was get the tail pipes cut off (since they were welded) and a turn-down welded on with a rear hanger. My rear hanger was on my tail pipe so it needed to be replaced. :flag:

If you are somewhat mechanically inclined you could do it yourself. All you would have to do is lift the rear up and put it on jack stands. Then cut the tail pipes off after the muffler. Be sure to leave the hanger. Go to auto store buy some cheap turndowns and exhaust clamps, bolt them on and your done. No welding required

With off road x-pipe and flowmasters with dumps u think it will sound nice? Im getting headers in the near future. It may be a little to loud u think? (with the headers)

They say the drone you will have a really bad drone in the cab with dumps. I don't know how much louder it would be but id bet it's more of a bass with dumps. Also the fumes will tend to get bad in the cab especially while sitting still.

How bad would dumps be on a dirt road? this is why I havent tried dumps. I'm afraid it will keep my car dirty. Also the 2 cuts in the bumper will have no exhaust. I would have to get those roush rear peices or a non GT rear bumper to get rid of this.

today i did it bymyself and i was wandering if its bad if i dont have the pipe pointing downward, i left about around 2 inches after the muffler b.c i was going to the pipe pointing downward with the exhuast clamp but will it be bad if i leave it the way it is? the way i cut it the pipe is kind of pointing down.
