Global West Strut Rods. Who is using them?

Yep working on all that. My uppers had been welded, so I ordered new arms to rework. The lowers have rod ends on them. I am having the saddles done now. So the strut rods were next on the list. 90/10 are on the way. Going to use small block springs. Hope all that will get the job done??

Global West Strut Rods. Who is using them?

I looked at those. I liked the way the global west ones billet coupler is directional and index's in the frame. Dont know if thats good or bad. Just seemed like a neat feature. Worth another $100.00????

    68 mustang shock towers w/ 428

Thanks. It was done like that when I bought the car. There is a few extra things that have been redone for strength. :D I'm guessing that old car did some big wheelies in its day. Brings that song "Blue Skies" to mind.... :D lol

    68 mustang shock towers w/ 428

I guess thats directed at me? That is 1/2" plate steel welded in. So I would say yes its stronger then factory. I know I took the headers off the car with the motor still bolted to the mounts. But they were 10 piece headers too....lol I know the spark plugs are easy to get out. :nice:

If you want to make it easier to work on. Cut the towers back and plate them. Makes life better with a big block.

What oil/grease goes in the steering box?

Thanks guys. From what I have found out, its suppose to be grease. The gear oil is suppose to run out the pitman seal. Whats in it looks like old grease. Its not street driven so I think the grease will be fine. Sure dont want no gear oil leaking in front of a slick. :nonono: Thanks Bud
