Global West Strut Rods. Who is using them?

I am going to replace the factory strut rods while I have the frontend apart. I like the way the Global West rods are designed. Anybody using them and what do you think?? This is a drag race only vehicle and I am looking for weight transference. So getting everything to move as quick as possible is the goal.
Thanks
Bud

I liked the Global West design too, but if weight transfer for drag racing is your goal, wouldn't this limit it by not giving like a flimsy rubber bushing? I don't know the answer but it's something to discuss.

I've got a Global West front end (more than just the struts). I ride the car real hard in the mountains everyday. Lots of sports cars and the Mustang does OK. I just can't believe how good the road handling is with their stuff.

I'm not sure if this helps but that's my 2 cents.

To get it all to move quick, you need to take all the rubber out of the front end and replace it with bearings. If it's a drag only car you can start with the rubber seals on the upper arm shaft. You may have to take them apart to get the seals out. The rubber bushing on the inside pivot of the lower arm can be replaced with a spherical bearing, or buy the GW lower arms. The strut rods and roller spring perches will let the front end come up fast.

Yep working on all that. My uppers had been welded, so I ordered new arms to rework. The lowers have rod ends on them. I am having the saddles done now. So the strut rods were next on the list. 90/10 are on the way. Going to use small block springs. Hope all that will get the job done??
