    DGR Performance in Dillsburg

What also concerns me, is that I left several voice messages and emails over the last three weeks with no response. In addition, I must have called a dozen times only to get their answering machine. I understand being busy, but it's down right poor customer service to not return calls after...

    Pulley alignment issue

So, the crank and water pump pulleys align with each other, but not with the smog, tensioner, and alternator. The alternator, smog and tensioner are pretty much in alignment with each other, however. The smog, tensioner, and alternator pulleys are about 1/8" - 1/4" out further than the water...

    Pulley alignment issue

Everything is the same, except the balancer. I installed a Romac balancer with a spacer, as the balancer did not come with a spacer. When I purchased the balancer from a particular vendor, they sent me the wrong unit, but ( correct balance, but it didn't have the built in spacer ) it seems like...

    Pulley alignment issue

I should have mentioned, that the way I have the belt routed, is how the Procharger instructions have me routing it. I could however, try to re-route it how the stock path is recommending just to see what happens. On a side note, I've noticed yesterday that the following pulleys sit out further...

    Pulley alignment issue

Eventually it ends up coming off. I'm can't determine "where" it comes off, but I'm guessing the water pump, as belt usually ends up stuck and shredded behind the tensioner itself, and sometimes pushed off the back of the water pump. On a side note, I did notice the tensioner moves a bit back...

    Pulley alignment issue

Do you know a company who makes a wider tensioner pulley? I know ASP makes a stock width. Only issue is, that I will still have the alignment problem which at this point is tough to determine. I shim one pulley, it changes the alignment of the other...

    Pulley alignment issue

I've been having an issue with a pulley alignment problem, where my belt, albeit extremely tight, walks forward on the tensioner and the water pump pulleys. ( The only pulleys without a lip. ) Thus far, it appears the smog pump pulley is pushed forward about 1/8" further than the crank...

    White smoke from breather

Noticed today when I started the car up, that I have a little bit of white smoke coming from the valve cover breather hole, which is normally plugged with an evac line which runs to a catch can. I understand white smoke can mean water being burned in the combustion process, or worn rings...

    331-Procharger dyno sheets

I got around to scanning the dyno sheets from the latest dyno pull which was conducted on a Superflow dyno with eddy brakes. Max power came at 6300rpm: 510.8 Max torque was at 5,200rpm: 471.5 Max boost seen was about 12.6psi @6300rpm. Car drives well, and feels pretty strong. I'm going to...

    Procharger power pipe

I spoke with one of the tech's at AFM regarding this power pipe. They mentioned that they don't think there will be enough clearance with a cobra R hood with a 3" raise, which mostly occurs in the center. Therefore, I'm not certain what hood they recommend. hmm

    Normal engine operating temperature

Hmm, I honestly don't recall if the thermostat has a bleeder check valve on it. It's a 180 degree Mr. Gasket unit; good or bad I don't know :) I currently have a manual fan switch. I keep the high speed fan running most of the time, and always turn it on when the car reached 180 degrees, which...

    Normal engine operating temperature

That's a good idea actually. Just to make sure all the air pockets are out, I may park the car in my driveway for a bit to let it idle, since I'm on a fairly steep incline. Thanks!

    Normal engine operating temperature

It really does suck that I had a shop do some of the work, that I could have done myself. The whole issue was, that the car sat for 8 years in a garage, which wasn't at my home. I just didn't have enough time to dedicate doing some of the small things, and I wanted the shop who built the...
