    I was thinking of getting the pi intake and gears. So I need to know if the intake is just a drop in replacement or if there is some sort of conversion kit for the npi heads. If so, who sells it? :)

    Yeah, I agree with black stang. Go with a 4.6. Preferrably 99+ Gt. They can withstand a mild supercharging with stock internals. 96-98 cobras can be had at a good price these days. Add supercharger and intercooler and a few other mods and 500 hp is not far.

    ok I was thinking 3.73 or 4.10s. But I heard it takes like 5 or 6 hours to do it because the whole rear end needs to be dropped and then recalibrate the speedo. Is this true? Sorry for the newbie questions

    :shrug: I want to get a 2800 converter for my 98 gt. I don't know how they exactly work. They're supposed to get you into your power band quicker. Can someone explain to me how they work? How does it work for slow speeds? I'm not going to be creeping through the parking lot with the engine...
