    Well my ignition system is all new MSD but my car is showing signs of a bad TFI? No hot start, untill engine cooled. I thought the MSD TFIs didnt have overheating problems as bad as the stock TFIs?

    Ok I went to adjust my tps and had some problems. I followed the directions on the surging idle checklist but when I put the volt meter on the safty pins it only read .0003 or whatever. Never got any higher. I tryed grounding to the block and the green wire read 4.75. All this was at closed...

    Yeah I have the same situation. I went to the one piece gasket to avoid leaks and a small one decided to start. Well I'll keep watching it, see what happens. Thanks for your help.

    That makes since but I'm not finding any more oil on the back of the engine then normal.

    Ok I just poked around a little under the car and theres nothing anywere near the headers and theres no more oil on the back of the engine as usual. I've had a small leak in the oil pan gasket since i built the motor so theres always been small amount of leakage but still no more then usual...

    Well the symptoms I'm haveing are the clutch chatters when starting if first but runs fine after, the oil pressure problem, and a smell of buring plastic when the motor is running.

    Well I'm only a little worried because I have some clutch problems after the track too so this pressure drop at the same time is worring me more. My oil pressure is a mechanical autometer gauge so I know thats working fine.

    Well my idle is already set at 900. I probally should have said this earlier but I went to the track the same day. I didn't run very hard, just went with some friends who were racing. Coming home is when the idle pressure dropped. It never dropped bellow 29.

    Alright I know that stronger clutches give chatter when starting off in first but I've been running my new centerforce for 1300 miles now and it just started doing it after some track runs. Is this normal? It never chattered before untill after I left the track on Saturday. Now it chatters...

    The filter is a new Ford Motorsports I put in with the oil. Theres 1300 new miles. It's just wierd that the warm idle with the synthetic is 29 when it used to be around 45 before.

    Hmm...i just replaced my oil with synthetic on my new motor and before i used to get around 45-50 idle and about 45 cruise. But now it's down to 29 idle and 45 cruise.
