4 Hole Carb Spacer on Vic Jr. on 408W Stroker

I am still in the process of gathering parts, but I already have the block, crank, pistons, and a Vic Jr intake. I plan on getting some Twisted Wedge 205 heads for this motor in a few months. I was debating between the Vic Jr and a Air Gap but found a decent deal on the Vic Jr. Yeah the...

4 Hole Carb Spacer on Vic Jr. on 408W Stroker

My hunch is that my single plane 351W Vic Jr. Intake is too high RPM for a 60% street driven vehicle with 3.89 gears. The other 40% I would say would be spirited mountain road driving. What would a Wilson Manifolds 1 inch 4 hole tapered carb spacer do to this combination? :D

    My Mustang Adventures 2011

Please post your thoughts on the QA1 shocks when you get the car on the road. Your project looks great and it is neat to follow the progress. I have those same shocks all around, but it will be a while before I get enough money for an engine. Armando

    Got my Powerjection III running

Powerjection III It sounds like you two guys are both satisfied with this system. I am leaning towards something like this since a good carb costs like $650. Let me know if you still recommend this system and if you are have to tune even on a naturally aspirated engine? I know iskwezm...

Speed Hut Gauges in 67 Gauge Cluster

Gauges Gene, it makes sense. I noticed that when people use the 5 inch Autometer gauges they cut out the trim around them to make them work in the 67 gauge cluster. In our older cars, is it better to just go mechanical instead of electronic for the speedometer? I am sure the tach gets...

    Pushrod Length??

Custompony, I had the same question not too long ago. I found out you have to use and adjustable pushrod to figure out what length you need. See the link below to see what I am talking about, good luck. COMP Cams Hi-Tech Pushrod Length Checking Tools - SummitRacing.com

Rolling rear fender lip how to?

Eastwood company makes a tool to roll fender lips, but I have heard of people rolling them with a wooden bat also. Never done it myself though, my Mustang had them already done when I got my hands on it.

Speed Hut Gauges in 67 Gauge Cluster

Stangnet, I am in the planning stages of deciding what gauges to get. I have seen some members here use Speed Hut in their 65 Mustangs. Has anyone installed them in a 67 Mustang? Pictures would be awesome if they are available. Thanks Everyone.

    Brake Lines

Cool deal, I am glad you warned me about the increased difficulty of working with stainless lines. The car itself is not a show car, it is bieng built for spirited driving. Thanks for the input.

    Brake Lines

Rusty and Sparx, thanks for the replies. I am going to ask at work if they have a flare tool set and go from there. It sounds like the best option is to purchase the long line from front to back then bend custom from the shock area to the master cylinder. Then do the same for the each of...

    Brake Lines

    New disc brakes

stangnet, I intalled some new disc brakes and the outer pad fits snug. Is this normal? My guess is that if I drive them a mile they will settle properly. I have about 1.5 mm on the inner board pad but the out board one had to be pushed in. Thanks Armando
