New disc brakes

stangnet, I intalled some new disc brakes and the outer pad fits snug. Is this normal? My guess is that if I drive them a mile they will settle properly. I have about 1.5 mm on the inner board pad but the out board one had to be pushed in. Thanks

The pads are supposed to slightly drag on the rotor. After being driven the inboard pad shouldn't have any clearance between the pad and the rotor surface.
