Weld wheels, what size/kind of lug nut?

I'm getting either Weld prostars or draglites for the track and I need to know what size and type of lug nuts to buy. Should i get them from Weld or someone else? How long should they be? I don't want them to bottom out or stick out too much. Should they be open end or closed...

Bought a model 94 GT convertible

I have been browsing auto shows for a while but found one on ebay instead. It is a 1994 crystal white GT convertible with doors, hood and trunk that open. The seats fold forward and the engine bay looks like a 94-95 gt's. The quality is better than I thought it would be. It's a 1/24th...

I want my car to sound like this!!!

Scary! I wonder what that cam would do to our 94-95 computers. The exhaust looks like a Corsa Indy edition with the Pro tips. I just installed the same catback on my momS C5.

Long tube issues on my vert

I just talked to a friend who has a 94 vert with bbk longtubes. He had to dremel about 1/4" off the brace to make them fit. I think this is more like ford production tolerances than a bbk discrepancy. Either that or your car was hit and is out of line a bit.

Long tube issues on my vert

An inch??? Something seems wrong there. Someone with bbk lt's should help you out with this one. I really like my mac lt's.

Long tube issues on my vert

How far are the LT's from clearing the brace? If it's not too much maybe you can use washers and space the x brace out enough to clear.

Is my stang too old to race???

If I were you, I wouldn't be picking fights with c5's just yet. A stock gt vs c5 won't be pretty. But, any racing is fun (at the track of course) and it will give you an idea of where a stock 94-95 is compared to a vette. This way you can mod your car and see where each addtional performance...

Can someone post pics of the wiring setup in the trunk?

Where exactly do you want a pic of? The back of the taillight harness, right before the taillight harness or somewhere else? I took out my trunk carpeting so taking a pic would be easy.

    Battery relocation done.....PICS!

Very nice engine bay Onebad95! My next project will be wire hiding and giving the engine bay a once over. It really needs it.

    Battery relocation done.....PICS!

It took most of the day start to finish. A lot of time was spent routing the wiring, taking pics, taking out the back seat (BTW>>>back of the rear seat on verts weigh 10.5lbs and the bottom of the seat weighs 11lbs), removing the wheel, and getting the lug on the starter. I used the Taylor...

    Battery relocation done.....PICS!

You don't really need the fuse but it's a good idea to have one. The fuse is for the alternator to kill switch wire. The stock alternator wire (orange/black) has a fusible link (fuse) near the distribution box so i figured it was best.

Inside the box: Here's the flaming river switch. (handle and rod not in pic). I bought a used taillight and will run the handle through the light to be legal.

    Battery relocation done.....PICS!

Got around to finishing my battery relocation using the Taylor kit and Flaming River switch. Here's a couple pics. BTW, this took WAAAAY longer than I thought it would. I took my time so it wouldn't burn up the car when I turned the key. The box really shines.. I also left the trunk...
