    Are you sure the correct plug was checked for codes? Our cars of course have two plugs for scanners, one for ABS and the other for everything else. People who are used to OBDII cars might not remember to look for both plugs and may have read the wrong set of codes for you.

    Is the switch integral to the wiper stalk, or is it somewhere else? I'm not sure how this thing is wired which is why I didn't want to start by replacing the wiper stalk, in case that wasn't the likely source of the problem. Or can the switch be replaced on its own by some other method? :shrug:
