    Most times it starts up just fine. I didn't notice it dragging before I installed it, but I lost a Taurus fan recently before this one because the motor went on it. This one is out of a Lincoln.

    The wires are there, but it looked like they were just cut off. I hooked up a speaker to the right side door wires and got nothing. I'm just not going to hassle with it, I think. It's just a cheap 4-banger to go from point A to point B. Also, it didn't have any rear speakers either.

    If you are just running a head unit without any external amps, I'd say save yourself the trouble and leave the stock wiring how it is. If you were using an amplifier to power the speakers and/or subwoofers, I'd say then it would be necessary to get full sound from those components.
