    Go to someone that knows trannys. Not just a guy in his backyard. You'll pay extra but it'll be worth it... I could have got a ford racing tranny for 900 but payed 1600 and it was worth it imo

    Stop beating on it.... Or go to a different transmission guy and ask. I just had mine rebuilt at 125,000. Has 2000 on it now and is fine.

    Alright, I just got a set of Richmond 4.10's and I'm getting them installed on Friday. The shop said that they'd supply the installation kit, but I have to buy the oil and Posi-additive. They're doing it for $135 which I consider a steal because the installation kits normally run about $75...

    Down on power (lower rpm's)

    I use to have this problem. I just had my transmission rebuilt [f-ing expensive btw] and had a shiftkit and a 2800rpm convertor installed. It peels outta first, leaves about 2 feet into second then just pulls. I also did a full tune up and cleaned my MAF.

    Cracked throttle body gasket or idle air controller.. happened to me and was a bitch.
