I decided that over the winter I'm gunna build a new engine. I'm buying a used 302 block for 5.0 and would like to have atleast 325 HP from the engine alone. The problem is that I don't have that much cash due to still being in college and would like for this engine to be my daily driver. I have a nitrous kit that I wanna add to the combination when it's completed, so I also have to build an engine that will be able to handle a 50-100 shot of dry. This is my first time building an engine and I'm asking for suggestions/advice from any of you people that have ever done it before. I would like to keep the cost below $1000 if possible.
