    Holley 4160 Secondaries Leaking?

I have a Holley 4160 on my 302 that's less than 2 years old. I bought it brand new from summit about a year and a half ago. To this point I haven't had any problems with it. However last weekend I was having starting issues. It would start run fine for awhile and then bog, and idle roughly and...

Do I need to pull my transmission?

Well I have the auto transmission radiator so just the stock radiator then. I don't own an infrared thermometer but I may be able to get one. I wish I knew where it was coming from. The last time it happened it was definitely leaking on the drivers side towards the tail of the transmission...

Do I need to pull my transmission?

My C4 is from a 70+ Mustang so this would have the loose fitting cap like vent then? In order to access it, do I deep the drop the tranny? Thanks.

Do I need to pull my transmission?

I have a 67 with a C4 transmission. Since putting my new motor in I've noticed some odd issues with the tranny. Basically, it is spewing ATF when I park it after a drive. The first time it happened I came outside to see a very large puddle of ATF on the driveway. I remembered the car was running...

    My new wheels

Thanks for the kind words guys. The paint will be changed when all is said and done. I will probably delete the stripes and use a more up to date ivy-ish green. Next up is suspension or body work. Not sure which path to take at this point though.

    Suspension porblem has me stumped....

Don't mean to be an ass, but you're certain you did the shelby drop right?

    My new wheels

I finally was able to take the car and take a few pictures after purchasing some new wheels. What do you guys think? Suspension will need work as evident in that raked up angle of the car.

    Carburetor or Timing?

Are you actually pumping fuel to the carb? From what I understand, I had a similar problem when I was first starting my car after rebuilding the motor. Namely, my fuel pump wasn't able to pull gas from the tank up to pump and into the carb while it was turning over. The only way it would run...

    C4 Transmission Filter Diagram?

Does the pin sit against the filter or up in the valve body? I made an executive decision yesterday, hope it was the right one.

    C4 Transmission Filter Diagram?

If it helps, I just figured out the transmission is from a 70-82 Mustang. I don't think the 60s C4s had this.

    C4 Transmission Filter Diagram?

I'm changing out my transmission filter today and notice on the last bolts I take out that there is a spring and pin that fall out from underneath one of the tabs of the filter. I think I know where the spring goes but don't know where the pin came from. Does anyone have a schematic of the...

Crushed oil filter trying to remove it... how to get it out

You can pretty much use any screwdriver you want as long as it's not so thin that it will tear through the sheet metal easily. The ones I've used in the past were pretty standard sizes with diameters in the 5/16" range. As far as where you hit it, I just go for the middle of it and make sure...

Crushed oil filter trying to remove it... how to get it out

Nope, no joke, I've done it twice on both my 67 and my daily to get stubborn filters off. It can get messy but other than that it's always worked for me :D

    Interesting Starting Issues, please help

Have you made any recent changes to the car, engine, etc? Or did this just sort of spawn out of the blue? Have you tried playing with the choke (leaving it closed while starting or anything else)?

    Interesting Starting Issues, please help

Sounds like a choke issue to me. I had very similar symptoms with my 302 just the other day. Turned out (my fault) that when I took off the electric choke cap and tried to reinstall it, I warped the "spring" inside the cap. I threw on the other cap I had and adjusted it properly and the car...
