    safe to run VT stage 1 cams with stock springs?

    VT has answered this question many times, springs aren't needed for the stage one cams. But if it were me and I had a motor with a few miles on it i.e.- 50k+, then I would change my springs but other than that I wouldn't change them unless I went with the stage II's

    never heard of anyone complaining about the sound of a prochamber. You want it louder put some mufflers on there. Some flow sound great with the pc, mac flowpaths, I have the spintech prostreets with my PC and I gaurantee you won't say my car is quite....i just think you need muffs dude. let us know

    thats what I was thinking.....I have never had this problem with any other vehicle though, makes me wander why I'm having this issue with a brand new one. Damn goodyears....haha. nothing worse than a pretty waxed up car with dull looking treads....thanks man

    I have a question that I thought was answered but another thread led me to believe otherwise. What would my redline be in my GT with 4.10's and 4.30's....that is my big questions. I don't want to redline in fourth gear at under 100mph. ??

    not too bad when you are cruising though. I just used that gear calculator and it said about 2700 at 60mph. Does that sound about right. Is that too hot for these motors to be running on say trips etc. I do take trips and dont' want to have to worry about the engine revving too much

    if it were me and I had to do it again I would just buy muffs again. If you are worried about rust then, after the muffs are welded in, put carboard between the muffs and the car.....after that spray hi temp paint, silver, on them and all over the new welds.     The only thing I dont' understand is that it doesnt' happen all the time and when it does I can hear it over my radio. It is loud, but other times not so loud. Doesn't make sense. i think I am going to go back to the guy that did my exhaust and see if anything is rubbing when I hit bumps etc...

    CatmanJJ- Just put your license plate in your dash, that is what I do in MD and I haven't heard any grief in years. I have never put a front plate on any of my vehicles. I was told by a cop that as long as the plate is visible from outside the care they wont' give you an grief for it.
