    Actually, according to this diagram, the 85 5.0 one, it looks like I can post both of them onto the pos. side of the solenoid as long as I have fusible link after them and before the solenoid. Is this right?

    Only thing is, the stock wiring is gone for like the black orange wire, so where would I wire the yellow green wire to? The red orange one should be hooked to positive side of solenoid with a fusible link according to my book. Anybody? Please!

    Check your fusible links. Thats what my problem was and put new ones on and fixed it. Come to autozone Friday afternoon if you get the chance, I should have my car there with the new 135 amp alt., new wiring, and everything.

    Bad head gasket or....

    Try a different thermostat. I had the same problem in my geo. I know different car, but same problem and also run your car with the cap off and you'll let all the air out of the system. You might want to try a 189 thermostat also. Id deffinately put a new one in there and let it get all the air out.
