Ok guys this is about my wheels, not to get flamed about my choice in body kits. As for the cobra emblems yes they are on backwards. When the shop repainted my car they put them on backwards and i haven't taken it back to get them fixed.. Waiting for this spring when I get the Y2K Cobra front...
ok got the turbo installed and I wanna add some laughing gas to the system also. I always here about wet or dry systems but which is the best and does it matter? can anyone chime in on this for me..
Well I have always been interested in the Pro-Products throttle body and thier EFI intake manifolds. But like the rest of you I stayed away becuase i always heard of them getting stuck at WOT. So when I was at SEMA I decided to have a talk with the tech and told him about the problem. Of...
yea black but thats with a 418 stroker.
I'm talking about a stock 220hp at the crank 5.0 making 450rwhp by dropping 2 turbos on it. I would be very disappointed if I couldn't do it after H/C/I. With HCI alone guys are making like 330 to the wheels
Well thats cool.. We will see, right now the post office is holding me up. Wanting for 1 of my turbos to get to the guy in Canada that rebuilds them. So far it's been like 2 1/2 weeks. Once I get that back I will throw it back in and off to the tuner.
Things I'm looking at getting...
I have a basically stock 302 with a twin turbo set-up and before i take it to dyno I'm trying to guess what the rwhp will be. I'm hoping for high 300's or 400RWHP. Not going to be WOT every time I drive it so the block should be safe for a minute.
Do you guys think I can hit those...
Yea, they do add up his was a total of 4 grand including tune and testing.. Mine is about 2 grand with twins and i still have to get a tune and my tranny reworked.. So I figure about 1500 more and I'm done. Til I do the H/C/I . Once I get 450 to the wheels I'm done!!
well dust on the 5.0 that what I did with mine but on the 4.6 i think he used his regular headers. his turbo install is a full custom job by a shop here in Philly
Ok the finally numbers are in: 325HP and 360TQ.
This is with a 70mm TB, 42LBS injectors, Pro Products intake, underdrive pulleys and stock block. oh did I mention the T70 hairdryer?
This was in another thread but it disappeared..:flag:
I think JD's is a good place also, I hate when the GREED MONSTER SHOWS IT'S UGLY HEAD AT GOOD PLACES.. Plus JD's is only 2 mins from my house.. But i think I'm going to try this other place in doylestown when I'm ready for my tune..
heres the update. nothing to do with the horse power but just to show you how some places try to get you on the price of work.
his car was running rich and fouled the plugs. So he took it to a friend of ours and they did a full tune up. Plugs, wires and even changed his oil again. So not...
