Wet or Dry nitro. Whats the best way to go?

Wet can allow for MORE overall HP. Dry is easier to set up. Took minutes for mine! Dry is nice for turbo I would think cause it cools the intake charge! My kit is new (used only once and I am going supercharger) and comes with the bottle warmer. That is a must have for cooler climates. Pm me if you are interested. :)

p.s. No shipping if you wanted to pic it up and my bottle is near full cause I only tried it one time, lol.
 
one thing i always wondered about nitrous...

I know on a wet system your spraying fuel and nitrous, BUT how does a dry kit add fuel....i know you use the efi system, but how does it add fuel when you spray?
does it send a positive spike to the FPR to add fuel?

yes. also a fuel pressure saftey switch so if the pressure is not there it will not spray.
 
You already have a turbo right...then go with a dry kit really only using about a 25 shot to cool the intake charge down. Or spray it on the cooler. You wont need more than that on a turbo car. It has a different effect on turbo cars than on naturally aspirated cars.

i hate fp saftey switches. imo they are as helpful as msd rev limiters with n2o. i have seen more grenaded stuff because of those 2 than i have anything else.

if it were me i would use some meth inj and a switch chip--much more forgiving.

MSD aside...talking nitrous here. These kits are much more advanced now and alot safer. My kit comes with a box(computer) not a switch. If the bottle pressure isn't there, you don't want it to spray..so it doesn't. The computer also raises the fuel pressure as needed. Mine tested very well and SAFE on the dyno.

thanks bud, i ran a zex kit on 2 diff cars over the last 5 years.

the fact remains, fuel pressure safety switches cause more harm than good.

The MAF senses the colder air and adds additional fuel.
 
I have seen the one that uses nitrous pressure to spike the FPR. Seems like a good idea.

For a turbo, I agree with keeping the spray at about 25-50 hp because of the intercooling effect. You would probably pick up A LOT more than 25-50 more hp, because of that. Boost makes heat. Heat makes detonation. Detonation causes the PCM to pull timing. Pulled timing=less hp. The spray would significantly reduce the heat caused by the boost. So, not only would you pick up the 25-50hp, but you would also get back what you would lose because of heat. Woo-hoo!
