    Guys, Thanks for all the responses. I may be able to get my hands on a barely used ECM. My last question is........... I currently have the "RKN2" version of the ECM. Do I have to get the RKN2 or can I just get one for a 99 - 04 5spd and plug it up? Thanks again.:flag:

    Spray some belt dressing on the belt. If the squeak stops, that typically means that it is the belt and not the tensioner.

    You will FAIL with flying colors.:notnice: Like said before; just the visual alone you will fail If you have a smog test you will obviously fail that one as well due to not having cats to help neutralize the emissions.

    Thanks for the insight. I went to the local speed shop and they want 150.00 each for the "car sound" cats, stainless. The thing is I don't necessarily need SS cats. A little high I thought. The search continues!!!! :flag:

    Keep sanding the chip and MAKE SURE ALL connections to the computer are snug. The same thing happened to me when I installed my Pcharger.
