Trust me man, its worth it. I have a 3 speed automatic 1970 stang and with that shift kit installed it kicks like downshifting a manual trans. not only that but it gives a much harder jump when shifting under full throttle.

Hey Im switching my Edelbrock RPM Performer Intake from my 1970 302 to my 1986 5.0 - will the ports match up from the intake to the 86' 5.0? does anyone know? im asking because some times they change the width of the block although they are both 5.0's, the one is 16 years newer than the other...
here in carlisle pennsylvania, we are at $2.55 for 87. its hard when you have to fill up on a 1970 gas hog. sometimes i wander if I4 turbo would have been the better choice :(

so youre saying that the sider the LSA, the more smoother idle it will have, and the more low end power it will put out? and the narrower the LSA, the more rough idle it will have, with more of a mid range output?

If i go with a set of TFS pistons with different valve angles, will that effect the limitations of what type of heads i can get? I was planning on going with roush 351 winsor heads, or trick flow twisted wedge heads. i had the B303 cam in mind, any other ideas ?
so then if i get the forged pistons i can go with pretty much any lift on a cam and performance heads that i want? i just cant go with flat top pistons?
