    I am replacing my 89's heater core soon, and was going to replace, or clean the evap, but there is very little info on the net about this I have a ahynes manual but doesnt help, the only info I did find says you have to cut open the case to get the evap out, anyone know about this????

    ok got the fluid thing fixed but still running 3/4 on guage so i removed thermo, no difference, replaced clutch fan , no difference. Is there any other Ford that the rad would fit .....thunderbird, LTD....on a budget so if i can get one that has more than my stock one.

    ok now it is still running 3/4 hot, although not steaming //changed clutch fan, removed thermostat, same issue although not losing fluid, now is the rad the same in a 4cyl car, the one i have in it now is a 2 row copper rad. will a 89-92 thunderbird or Ltd rad work?

    yep checked it out and the good news its not rusted, but it is busted, but the kicker was finding oil soaked padding from the oil guage that i had in the middle console. i tried to find new padding online but couldnt find it without ordering carpet.

    i have a feeling it is cracked and the bolt and stud is pulled out from the mount ....its always something.......thanks for the info couldnt really tell since it is under the carpet.

    I noticed that the drivers seat was a little more moveable than should be so after investigating the front mounting bolt seems to not attached , just wondering how it is attached. i guess will find out tomorrow just thought i would see if anyone has any info..

    They didn't badge all 89s, just after the anniv date 4/89. Mine was built 2/89 and didn't have it.
