    not to hijack the thread, but how can you adjust the clutch without a firewall adjuster? im getting one eventually but right now it needs to be adjusted and i dont have one.

    How wide of a tire can I put on a set of stock 1998 Cobra rims (real deal SVT, not reproductions)? Right now they have 245/45's but as we all know, wider is better. Whats the widest tire i could use?

    i used to have an 89 GT auto.....all the o/d button did was lock out o/d, nothing else. i would use it around town especially if i was going down hills and stuff so i would have to constantly be on the brakes. plus it sounds better in 3rd!!

    ha, the i've had the car for 2 months prior to this and it never burned, leaked, consumed, hid, ate, pissed, or **** oil. when i changed it i even used valvoline maxlife. my old GT used to burn about a quart every 500 miles and once i put maxlife in never burned another drop, so i definetly...

    the thing with AFR's is that they come fully ported. so whatever they flow out of the box is all they're gonna do, im pretty sure you cant open them up any more than they already are. the TW's give you some room to grow so I would stick with em and get them ported.

    called ford today and ordered a stock replacement. $117.50, done deal. i only need this motor to run for another 8-12 months as i will be putting in a brand new 331 so i went the cheapest route.
