    Anyone used Plastex?

    I got the stuff the other day. I just hit the molding bar with a heat gun and molded the mount on the 94. Worked pretty well. Now I just have to load a bunch of powder into it, squeeze some liquid in and see how it works. Ive got pics of the mold, and i'll be taking pics of the repair.

    Yep... Id agree. Really take a look a the trans fluid, if its not red anymore and its dark, or you see dark junk in it your clutches are on their way out, and at some point in the future only second gear will work. It will go into 3 and 4 but not go anywhere.

    Yes. Those are good. Better than that is the full roller version for ~120 more, which will reduce friction more.

    I agree. I wouldnt bother swapping them out on a stock headed car. On an aftermarket head I would run a mid or long tube header.

    Yes. I dont think Id boost a 11:1 motor either. Id spray the hell out of it, but I wouldnt boost it.

    Electrical (sound) troubleshooting

    Yep... I removed mine because of the excess wiring in there that was useless. It sits on the trans tunnel, directly in front of the ABS unit. There are a couple screws on the sides of the dash that hold it in. The power for it comes out from under the dash, little two wire connector.
