    Sounds like you got a little pinging going on. Did you try taking off the cold air intake, and putting the stocker back on just to see if that's the problem? You may be running lean which is causing the pinging. A buddy of mine had an F-150 which he was describing sounded like a diesel truck...

    The idle problem could be a couple of things. First I would inspect your IAC (Pendulum connected to the throttle body with a harness connected to it), clean it out and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, then I would next check for any vacuum leaks. Smelling coolant and running hotter...

    Well, if you want to see if the alternator is working turn the car on and disconnect the positive cable on the battery (correct me if I'm wrong fellas). If the car doesn't die then the alternator is charging. Is the battery light on in your cluster?
